During my studies of spatial planning (B.Sc. and M Sc.) and my subsequent work as an urban planner, I developed a special interest in urban and regional development as well as planning law.
As a research assistant at the Department of Spatial Planning and Planning Theory, I am involved in the TEMPUS project funded by the German Research Foundation. It deals with the timing of strategy changes using the example of the Emscher conversion and is being carried out jointly with the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development.
